for birthday parties
Do put out placecards on the table or arrange sleeping bags so that children are sitting or sleeping beside someone they know. Since only two people can sit or sleep next to the birthday girl, don't be afraid to pick two children who might be shy or don't know as many children.
How about a Make Your Own Sundae instead of a birthday cake. Include 2 or 3 flavours of ice cream, sauces, toppings, whipped cream and a cherry.
